Symptoms of poisoning
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
  • Lethargy
  • Change in urine colour
  • Tremors after large ingestions
What to do first
  1. Remove the plant and note roughly how much was eaten.
  2. Offer water; do not induce vomiting.
  3. Call the vet if vomiting repeats or any tremor appears.
What your vet will do
Fluids and anti-sickness medication. Consider swapping the plant for a haworthia, which looks similar and is on the ASPCA non-toxic list.
