Keeping it in a pet home
Light: Bright indirect light, 10–12 hours a day. A north or east windowsill is perfect.
Water: Water from below into a saucer for 20 minutes, then tip away the excess. Water on the leaves causes permanent brown spotting.
With pets: Non-toxic and produces flowers year-round, so it satisfies the urge for colour without reaching for a lily. Keep off low tables if a rabbit has floor freedom — they will strip the leaves.
